1Purpose

This Enrollment Policy defines the principles, requirements, and procedures governing student enrollment at EC Business School and Technology. It ensures that admission and registration processes are transparent, academically rigorous, and aligned with European higher education standards, supporting international recognition and academic mobility.

2Regulatory Framework

Enrollment at EC Business School and Technology is conducted in accordance with:

  • The Bologna Process and its three-cycle degree structure
  • The European Qualifications Framework (EQF)
  • The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS)
  • Institutional policies on academic integrity, ethics, and quality assurance

These frameworks ensure consistency, comparability, and quality across all academic programs

3General Enrollment Requirements

All applicants seeking enrollment must:

  • Meet the academic eligibility criteria for their chosen program
  • Demonstrate adequate proficiency in the language of instruction
  • Accept and comply with institutional regulations, academic integrity policies, and ethical standards
  • Complete all registration procedures and fulfil financial obligations

Enrollment is formally confirmed only after verification of academic credentials and administrative approval.

4Enrollment Requirements by Program Level

4.1Bachelor’s Programs

Bachelor’s programs provide foundational and discipline-specific knowledge designed to prepare students for professional practice or further study. Enrollment requires:

  • A recognised upper secondary qualification granting access to higher education
  • Acceptance of the institutional admission offer
  • Continuous registration throughout the program

Programs carry 180–240 ECTS credits and are normally completed over 3–4 academic years.

4.2Master’s Programs

Master’s programs emphasise advanced knowledge, analytical skills, and applied or research-based learning. Enrollment requires:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
  • Acceptance of the institutional admission offer
  • Registration for required coursework and research components

Programs require 60–120 ECTS credits over 1–2 academic years and include a dissertation or final project.

4.3Doctoral Programs

Doctoral programs focus on original, independent research contributing to knowledge in business, technology, or related fields. Enrollment requires:

  • A Master’s degree or equivalent qualification
  • An approved doctoral research proposal
  • Confirmed supervision arrangements

Doctoral enrollment may be full-time (3–4 years) or part-time (4–5 years) and is subject to ethical approval and annual progress review.

5Language of Instruction

English is the primary language of instruction for all programs. Applicants must demonstrate sufficient language proficiency to participate effectively in academic study and assessment.

6Continued Enrollment and Progression

Continued enrollment is conditional upon:

  • Satisfactory academic or research progress
  • Compliance with institutional regulations
  • Adherence to academic integrity and ethical standards

Failure to meet progression requirements may result in suspension or termination of enrollment.

7Policy Governance and Review

This policy is approved by the Academic Council of EC Business School and Technology and is reviewed periodically to ensure ongoing compliance with European academic standards and institutional objectives.

8Effective Date

This Enrollment Policy applies to all academic programs from the date of institutional approval.
